Irgendein Amateur hätte das Handyfoto vermutlich einfach bei Twitpic hochgeladen mit der Unterschrift: „Heute am Kemnader See Baumstamm Krokodil entdeckt”. Oder als Leserfoto an „Bild” geschickt, die nach eingehender Prüfung festgestellt hätten, dass es sich nicht um ein Krokodil handelt, sondern ein Alien.

Wir leben in Deutschland, nicht in Syrien. Das bedauere ich bisweilen, wenn ich aufs Wetter schaue, aber ich hatte schon das Vergnügen, in Damaskus mit Journalisten zu arbeiten und kann sagen: Deutschland ist ein Paradies im Vergleich zu Syrien, wenn es um die negative Pressefreiheit geht.
